NEH Presentation

World War II: An Installment Payment on Freedom for African Americans, a National Endowment for the Humanities presentation, will be in the McMorrough Library on the Goodman campus on October 22 at 12:15 p.m. All are invited to attend. Show off your spooky side and decorate your dorm door, winner will be judged and announced Oct. 30.

 

Flu Shots Available

It is Flu Shot Season! Instead of having a set date, the Premier Clinic is setting aside times for Goodman employees to get their shots. So beginning Monday, October 28 through November 4, the clinic will be giving flu shots from 12:30pm-1:30pm. If these times are not convenient, feel free to schedule an appointment with the clinic.

 

PTK Meeting on Monday, Oct. 21

The Kappa Alpha Chapter of PTK on the Goodman campus will have a meeting with Mrs. Hannah Pierce, MS State University Recruiter, in the McMorrough Library at 3:30 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024.

The STEM Study Center is open now in the Computer Technology Building. Here are the hours for tutoring:

The Goodman Campus Writing Center is now pen in McDaniel Hall. Hours are 8-9 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday and 1-3:30 Monday through Thursday.

Open Up Mississippi Club: Meeting Nov. 12 for New Members

The Open Up Mississippi Club will have a meeting for new members on Nov. 12 at 12:15 p.m. in Ridgeland Hall-Classroom 111. The Open Up Mississippi Club is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and wellness and support students’ well-being. PN Ridgeland

PN Ridgeland department donated 440 cans of cat and dog food to the “No Kill” shelter, Webster Animal Shelter, in Madison, MS. Shelter staff were most appreciative!

Making Strides: Breast Cancer Walk

Join the HCC Ridgeland Associate Degree Nursing Program in their walk to fight breast cancer. Ask a nursing student how you can support their walk or join them on Saturday, October 26, at 7:00 a.m. at Mississippi Braves Trustmark Park. Turk-a-thon 2024 returns this fall. It’s slated to be held in or surrounding Science Building West on Wednesday, November 20th between 10:15 – 11:15am. Keep an eye out for more information about this trot around the Ridgeland campus!
